Sushi x Kobe and Isah – Kadetten 2019

Isah surprised not just the audience, but all of the festival-goers, by bringing one of Norway’s biggest rap-duo’s Karpe on stage.

The Bergen duo Sushi x Kobe took the whole crowd in Kadetten festival by surprise. They started to play as early as 4 pm, with a lot of fans already waiting for them, and dropping one of the hottest performances of the day.

Onge $ushimane and Kobe-Wan Kenobi seem to just be having fun with their puns and their jokes, but they are a serious thing on stage.

The audience at Kadetten are young and faithful to the duo. As they played some of their biggest hits (yeah, they’re big among this crowd), such as “Tenker feil” and “Aldri for mye”, the audience kept jumping higher and screaming louder. Towards the end of the concert the duo asked the audience to create a massive mosh pit, which ended up being one of the most fun moments of the festival.

Isah

Soon after it was time for Isah, who was seen walking leisurely around the festival only a few minutes before his performance. The first songs passed without attracting much attention.

However, his confidence and quality grew as time passed. From the colourful stage, engaging the audience, he had the whole crowd singing along to songs like “Hallo”.

It was towards the end of the concert it truly peaked. Isah surprised not just the audience, but all of the festival-goers, by bringing one of Norway’s biggest rap-duo’s Karpe on stage with him, with whom he has collaborated on songs like “Syreangrep” and “ Blod, homie”. The whole festival lost it completely, and you could see kids running from the farthest corners of Kadetten towards the stage. The Stavanger-born rapper closed on a very high note together with his old friends.
